Here we have an approximately 13mm max diameter elongated tip stretching sound/insert. The tip starts out at 7mm and gradually expands up to 12mm over the next 1.5" length. The remaining 5.5" of the sound slowly graduates from 12mm up to the 13.5mm maximum out to the 8mm retention valley just in front of the 16.5mm safety flange.

The overall length of the sound is approximately 7" with 6.5" insertable. In the very soft #00-50 silicone, it makes a wonderful stretching sound for those of you who want to move up to a larger diameter. This probe can be purchased with an open core for extended-length wear to accommodate drainage or with a completely solid configuration.

The silicone material can be selected from five levels of softness. If you want something that is firm but still quite flexible, you should select the #30 softness level. For a much softer material that is compressible and will give a constantly expanding pressure, you should choose the #00-50 softness option. For something in the middle, go with the #10, which is also somewhat compressible, or the #18 for just a little more firmness. For a really firm sound but still quite flexible, use the #30 option under softness selections.

The #18 and #30 are the only silicone that we have available in pure translucent. The #00-50 and #10 base color are a translucent white but can be mixed with all our standard color selections.
