The enthusiasm of our patrons over the MRB and MRBEX sounds have inspired this revolutionary design of a tapering 20-segment, multi-ribbed, multi-dimensional, flexible urethral sound. With its amiable rounded style tip and ribs this probe goes in smoothly providing a magnitude of sensation as each rib and valley stimulates and expands the way for the following ribs. The total insertable length of the MRB20 is approximately 13'', up to the flared-style base. This probe can be purchased with open core for extended length wear to accommodate drainage or with a completely solid configuration.

The sound has 20 separate ribs that vary not only in diameter but shape and length, including the gently tapered 4.5mm tip. The very first 2 ribs taper up in diameter between 7.5 mm and 8mm with 7mm valleys. The following 7 ribs slightly taper back down from 7.7mm to 7.5mm with accompanying 7.0mm valleys. The 4 ribs in the center of the mid-section of the sound are approximately 7.5mm in diameter and 6mm valleys respectively. The stimulation from the center to the base of this sound is the sweet spot. The following 6 ribs marginally taper up to 8mm with accompanying 7.5mm valleys, ending with one 8.5mm maximum diameter robust rib just before the 6mm retaining valley at the 9mm safety base flange. The longer tapered design of the last rib is up to 8.5 mm and provides a gentle stretching action to allow the sphincter to gradually stretch before seating itself into and closing around the last valley in front of the flared base flange.

Our silicone materials are available in four levels of softness as shown in the drop list selections. This sound should be extremely comfortable yet still quite stimulating for extended wear if that is what you desire.

Due to the diameter of this piece the only open core option available is 3/32". Any larger core makes the piece too thin in the valleys and subject to failure.

The #18 and #30 are the only silicone that we have available in pure translucent. The #00-50 and #10 base color are a translucent white but can be mixed with all our standard color selections.
