Beginner Sounds

The urethra is incredibly sensitive. Always start with a smaller diameter to allow your body time to adjust without trauma. If you encounter resistance, stop immediately; pushing through can cause micro-tears or other injury.

Familiarize yourself with the anatomy and depth of your urethra. Using a piece that is too long or attempting to go too deep can cause unnecessary discomfort or risk to the bladder. Hygiene is paramount: ensure both the piece and your hands are thoroughly cleaned with a mild, antibacterial soap before and after every use.

While a very mild 'tingling' sensation is common, if you experience sharp pain, bleeding, or difficulty urinating, seek medical attention immediately. I have curated a selection of our smallest diameter pieces below to help you get started. Everyone’s body is different, but for many, the 5.5mm or 6mm rods—which can be made as shorter items—are excellent starting points.
