The Ribbed Throat Trainer is a textured oral trainer for gag reflex desensitization, with a smooth entry tip, a ribbed section for tactile feedback, and a mouth-resting bulb. Available in 8", 12", and 16" lengths.

How it works

The smooth 0.75" tip eases along the palate, then four sequential 0.85" ribs provide tactile feedback as you move the piece in and out. The 1.0" bulb rests inside the mouth as a depth marker, and the 0.25" center bore keeps the shaft flexible and airflow open throughout.

Who it's for

This is a beginner-to-intermediate oral trainer — the 0.75" base column is widely accessible, and the three length options let you progress gradually as your depth tolerance builds.

Choosing your firmness

Bob recommends #10 (Medium) — it gives the ribs enough structure to hold their shape while keeping the shaft easy to guide.

If you want more compliance, or you're working through especially sensitive reflex areas, #00-20 (Very Soft) or #00-50 (Soft) are also available.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 are translucent white base materials and can be mixed with standard colors.
