The SSND-OCTA-SIDE combines a faceted octagonal shaft with a fast, rippling rib section — flat planes instead of a round profile for most of its length, finishing in a multi-tier retention lock.

How it works
The 11mm rounded tip guides entry, then the shaft transitions into a 120mm octagonal section with slightly different flat planes on each side, swelling gradually to 18mm — the flat edges give distinct, defined feedback compared to a round shaft. This is followed by a 45mm rapid-rib zone alternating between 14mm and 15mm for a quick, rippling texture. The final section swells to 18mm, narrows into a 14mm valley, then expands once more to 18mm at the base flare, locking the piece securely in place.
Choosing your silicone firmness
Because of the sharp faceted edges and fast ribs, Bob recommends #00-50 (Soft) — it lets the geometry stay comfortable rather than rigid against tissue.
Color options
#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent silicone.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 use a translucent white base and can be mixed with our standard colors.
