SSND-RIB-12mm blue ribbed silicone sound showing polished rounded tip, textured 12mm ribbed shaft, and flared safety flange.

SSND-RIB-12mm ribbed urethral sound with polished rounded tip and sharp rib design, 9.25-inch insertable length, 12mm diameter, largest ribbed sound

The SSND-RIB-12mm is our largest ribbed sound — a continuous run of pronounced ribs along a 12mm shaft, offering steady, repeating texture across its full 9" insertable depth. It starts with a polished, rounded tip and finishes with a smooth collar before the flared base. Available solid or open-core, with the open-core version allowing fluid passage.

Details

Total length: 9.25" (235 mm)
Insertable depth: 9" (228.5 mm)
Polished entry tip: 11.9 mm (35.7 Fr)
Ribbed shaft peak: 11.9 mm (35.7 Fr), continuous ribs
Base: Smooth proximal collar into a flared safety flange

Choosing your silicone firmness

Bob recommends #00-50 (Soft) as the primary choice — it lets the 11.9mm ribs compress slightly on insertion while maintaining steady, gentle outward pressure.

If you'd rather have firmer rib definition and stronger column support over the 9" length, #10 (Medium) is also available.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent silicone.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 use a translucent white base and can be mixed with our standard colors.

Please note

This is an intermediate piece — the continuous ribbing along a 9" length calls for some prior sounding experience.
Use appropriate lubrication and never force insertion. Stop immediately if you experience pain, bleeding, or significant discomfort. Inspect the sound before each use and do not use it if damaged.
