The SSND-RIB-8mm is a beginner-level sound with 29 closely spaced, rounded ribs along its length, giving soft, rhythmic textural feedback on the way in. It's available solid or with a 3/32" hollow channel for fluid drainage during extended wear.

Choosing your silicone firmness

Bob recommends #10 (Medium) — across an 8.75" length at 8mm, it provides the column strength needed to keep the shaft from bowing during insertion.

For more direct, precise control, #18 (Firm) is also available — smaller profiles like this one flex more under pressure, and the added density reduces that deflection.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent silicone.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 use a translucent white base and can be mixed with our standard colors.

This is a beginner-friendly piece. Its extended length reaches past the earlier segments of the canal for deeper stimulation as part of a gradual dilation routine.
Use appropriate lubrication and never force insertion. Stop immediately if you experience pain, bleeding, or significant discomfort. Inspect the sound before each use and do not use it if damaged.
