SSND-THREADED12
Recommended for open bore options
The SSND-THREADED12 is a flexible, beginner-tier sound with a spiral-threaded shaft and two bulbs — a primary bulb partway along the threading, then a secondary bulb before the final retention valley.

How it works
The 7.2mm tapered tip guides in smoothly, then the shaft threads gradually from 7.5mm up to an 11.5mm primary bulb over 14.6cm — a spiral texture that delivers continuous tactile feedback. Past the bulb, the shaft drops into a 9.5mm valley, swells again to an 11.7mm secondary bulb, then settles into a final 9.5mm retention valley right in front of the 12.6mm flange, where the internal sphincter closes around the notch to anchor the piece securely.
Choosing your silicone firmness
Bob recommends #10 (Medium) as the default — it delivers the column strength needed across the 8.1" shaft to prevent bowing during insertion, while transferring crisp spiral feedback.
Color options
#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 base colors are translucent white and can be mixed with any standard color.
