The THING 5 is an asymmetrical plug with a different profile on each side. One side has a series of ridges and nodes, while the opposite side has a smoother continuous shape.

It is available in five sizes from 1" to 2", with the overall dimensions increasing with each size.

Shape

The THING 5 has two different sides rather than a symmetrical round profile.

One side uses a series of raised sections and valleys, while the opposite side has a smoother, continuous curve. The retention valley is positioned between the main body and the flange.

Choosing your silicone firmness

Bob's firmness recommendations change with the size of the THING 5.

  • 1.0": #18 or #10
  • 1.25": #10 or #18
  • 1.5": #10
  • 1.75": #10 or #00-50
  • 2.0": #00-50 (Soft)

The larger sizes benefit from softer silicone because the larger profile can flex more easily.

If you're unsure which firmness to choose, we recommend ordering our silicone firmness samples first.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent.

#00-20, #00-50, and #10 are translucent white base materials and can be mixed with standard colors.

Please note

The THING 5 is available in a wide range of sizes, from 1" through 2". Choose a size appropriate for your experience level and what you are accustomed to using.

Everyone's anatomy is different, and we cannot guarantee that a particular size will be suitable for everyone.

Use appropriate lubrication, never force the product, and stop if you experience pain or significant discomfort. Inspect the silicone before each use and do not use the product if it is damaged.
