The SSND-RIB-6mm is a slim, flexible sound with 29 evenly spaced, soft-profile ribs running its full length, finishing at a wide safety flange for secure handling.

Choosing your silicone firmness

For the SSND-RIB-6mm, Bob recommends #18 (Firm). At only 6mm, a firmer durometer gives the shaft enough structural density to resist bending or buckling over its 8.5" length during full insertion.

If you'd prefer more lateral flex, #10 (Medium) is also available, though it takes more care during placement to avoid the shaft flexing.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent silicone.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 use a translucent white base and can be mixed with our standard colors.

This is a beginner-friendly piece. The narrow 6mm profile combined with the extended length lets newer users explore deeper canal reach without a large diameter.

I have longer and thicker rods than this one. I initially bought this as a ramp in case 8mm proved too much.

This one is underrated. Obviously you won't be tickling your prostate with a 22 cm sounding rod (unless you're on the shorter side), but that's totally fine. This rod hits all the sweet spots along the way, slips in easily (although do make sure to lube the hole and the rod well, obviously), stays in place with no effort, has a surprisingly nice texture (the one I have is softness 10A, and is plenty squishy enough) and in general just feels really pleasent. No stretching, no pushing your limits, no messing with the bladder, just easy urethral fun.
