The SSND-Solis 3.85" is a short-format version of our original Solis line, isolating expansion to the forward canal for comfortable, low-fatigue retention wear. Every size shares the same 3.85" total length and smooth, uniform shaft, tapering into a dedicated retention valley right in front of the flared base.

How it works
Each size uses a smooth, uniform shaft that tapers down into a retention valley scaled to its own diameter, right ahead of the flared base. Because the whole piece stays within 3.3" of insertable depth, it sits comfortably in the forward canal without reaching deeper curves, making it well suited to hands-free, extended wear.
Choosing your silicone firmness
Bob recommends #10 (Medium) as the default across this format. If you plan to wear it for extended periods, or you've chosen one of the larger sizes, #00-50 (Soft) is worth considering — it compresses slightly on insertion and maintains gentle, continuous outward pressure.
Color options
#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 base colors are translucent white and can be mixed with any standard color.
Please note
The 9mm and 10mm sizes are a good starting point. 11mm–13mm suit users with some experience. 14mm–16mm are intended for advanced users seeking more volume in a short profile.
