SSND-SPEAR-A
Recommended for open bore options
The SPEAR-A is a smaller-diameter version of our Spear line, with a 4mm tip expanding to a 12.5mm peak over a 1" head section, followed by an 11" smooth working shaft. 12" total insertable length.
Details
- Entry tip: 4 mm (12 Fr)
- Head section: 4–12.5 mm (12–37 Fr), tapering over 1"
- Main shaft: 12.5 mm (37 Fr), smooth, 11" long
- Safety flange: ~25 mm (~1.0")
- Insertable length: 12"
How it works
The 4mm tip guides in with low friction, then widens over a 1" section up to its 12.5mm peak diameter — the main point of stretch. From there, the shaft holds a continuous, smooth 12.5mm profile for 11", with no ribs or valleys, for an uninterrupted glide. A flanged base gives a secure external stop.
Choosing your silicone firmness
Bob recommends #10 (Medium) as the primary choice — it provides structural integrity for easier insertion without bowing, along with clear tactile feedback.
Color options
#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent. #00-20, #00-50, and #10 base colors are translucent white and can be mixed with any standard color.
Please note
This falls in our intermediate tier at 12.5mm — a solid step up for users moving past starter sizes. The full 12" depth calls for intermediate-to-advanced technique.
Use appropriate lubrication and never force insertion. Stop immediately if you experience pain, bleeding, or significant discomfort. Inspect the sound before each use and do not use it if damaged.
