The SSND-16mm is a large-diameter silicone urethral sound with a small rounded bulb tip, a narrow relief groove, and a gradual transition into a uniform 16 mm (48 Fr) shaft. A retention valley is located near the base.

Choosing your silicone firmness

For the SSND-16mm, Bob recommends #10 Medium. The firmer silicone provides more support for the large-diameter shaft.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent silicone.

#00-50 and #10 use a translucent white base and can be mixed with our standard colors.

Please note

The SSND-16mm is a large-diameter sound and is intended for experienced users. The 16 mm shaft is substantially larger than the 11 mm SSND models.

Use appropriate lubrication and never force insertion. Stop immediately if you experience pain, bleeding, or significant discomfort. Inspect the sound before each use and do not use it if damaged.
