This short flexible silicone sound, or Shortcath, was devised with a very smooth 7mm (21 French) diameter rounded tip and 10.5mm (31.5 French) diameter enhanced sensory retention ball midway up the shaft. This piece is a very similar polished variation of our original Short Cath 4 urethral sound/incontinence plug.

The overall length of this model is 4” with approximately 3.75” (95.25mm) insertable length. The initial tip is approximately 5.5mm (16.5 French) in diameter and the main shaft diameter following the tip is 7mm (21 French). The shaft length extends for 2.5” (63.5mm) before reaching the special enhanced sensory retention ball which is 10.5mm (31.5 French) in diameter. This Mid-ball contoured design should provide extraordinary sensation and light urethral stretching. The shaft following the Sensory ball is also 7mm (21 French) diameter and continues for approximately 1” (25mm) before reaching the 0.7” (18mm) safety flange base.

This sound can be configured with several open core options for drainage during insertion or as a solid core urethral plug. You can make your individual selections as to color, level of softness, and open or solid core type from the drop list boxes.

As with all our other silicone nozzles, this one is also available in a wide array of material softness and colors. Please make note that the "10 Soft" silicone is not available in the pure translucent color. It is available in all the other colors including the translucent white material in the drop list. If you accidentally order that selection with the normal translucent color option, we will automatically substitute the translucent white color instead.
