This 4.25” short flexible silicone insert was created after several customer requests for smaller stretching appliances to aide in urethral patency and expand urethral scar tissue resulting from multiple cystoscopy procedures. This sound begins with two small groves or valleys near the smooth tip, a dimpled section in and along the shaft, and a flattened billow section just before the flange. This urethral sound appliance would make a great introductory piece or a very comfortable wearable urethral incontinence plug. Unfortunately, due to the smaller diameter of near the flange, we do not offer an open bore selection on this model.

The overall length of this model is approximately 4.25” allowing 4” (2.5cm) of insertable length. The insert begins with a very smooth 5mm (15 French) diameter rounded tip that quickly tapers up to an approximately 9.5mm maximum diameter (28.5 French). The first and second grooves or valleys are approximately 9mm and 8.5mm diameters (27 and 26 French) respectively. The middle Shaft section which we describe as being dimpled has a maximum cross-sectional diameter of 9.25mm (28 French). The billowed section before the flared flange has an approximate maximum diameter of 9.3mm (28 French) and minimum diameter on the flattened area of 4.75mm (15 French). The flared Flange is 14.5mm diameter (43.5 French) however not intended for insertion.

Again, this insert cannot be configured with an open core option, only as a solid core urethral plug. You can make your individual selections as to color and level of softness from the drop list boxes.

As with all our other silicone products, this one is also available in a wide array of material softness and colors. Please make note that the "10 Soft, 00-50 Plus Soft, and 00-20 Extra Soft" silicone is not available in the pure translucent color. It is available in all the other colors including the translucent white material in the drop list. If you accidentally order that selection with the normal translucent color option, we will automatically substitute the translucent white color instead.
