The SSND-MD 8-16 is a heavy-gauge, eight-segment stepped sound, and a step up for users who've worked through our MD 6-14 and are ready for larger volumes. Each segment gradually widens the path for the one after it, giving the tissue time to adjust before the next size.

Choosing your silicone firmness

Bob recommends #10 (Medium) for the SSND-MD 8-16. Worth noting: a customer who ordered this in our softest option (#00-20) found it compressed and expanded under resistance, making it harder to push through solo — they'd recommend stepping up in firmness for that reason.

Color options

#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent silicone.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 use a translucent white base and can be mixed with our standard colors.

This piece is intended for experienced users who have already worked past the 14mm range and are ready to progress toward a 16mm diameter.

Quality is fantastic and it is very fun. However the largest segment is closer to 17.5mm in diameter. Not s complaint but not as advertised. I ordered the softest material and it's pretty difficult to work with solo. I noticed that it not only compresses but also enlarges when inserted and meeting some slight resistance making it a bit more difficult to push in further for that stretch. If you're working your way up to the larger size I'd recommend going a step up in firmness. I will be ordering another in the firmer silicone
