We are still growing our MRB family of flexible urethral sounds. This engaging model is 14” long, allowing 13.5” for insertion, and has a larger diameter of varying length ribs and valleys extending the length of the entire shaft. It also has slight variances in the shape of the tip and safety base.

The first tapering rib/tip is the smallest diameter expansion at approximately 11.5mm (34.5 French). The accompanying valley or groove is approximately 10mm (30 Fr.), and there are 11 more expanding ribs and tapering valleys or grooves that follow the tip. The third rib or ball segment from the tip is the largest diameter at approximately 14.5mm (43.5 Fr.), and the accompanying valley diameter is approximately 11.7mm (35 Fr.). All of the following ribs and valleys vary slightly in length and diameter before reaching the final 10mm (30 Fr.) retaining valley just proximal to the tapered barrel safety base flange, which is 15mm (45 Fr.) and not intended for insertion.

This probe can be purchased with several open-core options for extended-length wear to accommodate drainage or with a completely solid configuration.

The silicone material is available in four levels of softness, as shown in the drop list selection box. This sound should be extremely comfortable yet still quite stimulating for extended wear if that is what you desire. The #00-50 softness is really nice when you want a sound that is compressible and will continuously stretch the urethra outward while inserted. Bear in mind this very soft silicone takes a little more lube and a little more time and effort to get inserted but is well worth the experience and sensations.

The #18 and #30 are the only silicone that we have available in pure translucent. The #00-50 and #10 base color are a translucent white but can be mixed with all our standard color selections.
