How it works
The ~4mm tip steps up to full diameter within about 8–12mm, then the oblong shape (taller than it is wide) exerts focused pressure against the top and bottom of the canal rather than evenly around it. The six underside bumps and two top nodules add texture along the way, and each size's retention valley scales proportionally, letting the muscle hold the piece securely ahead of the flared base.
Choosing your silicone firmness
Bob recommends #10 (Medium) across this oblong, textured design — it keeps the ~4mm tip rigid enough to insert smoothly while the bumps deliver clear, high-definition feedback.
For long-term retention wear in the larger 18mm–22mm sizes, #00-50 (Soft) is also worth considering — it compresses slightly on insertion and exerts a gentle, continuous outward stretch.
Color options
#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 base colors are translucent white and can be mixed with any standard color.

Smaller sizes (12mm–15mm) suit intermediate users stepping up from standard rods; 16mm–22mm sizes are for advanced users.
