The SSND-THING is a short, organically textured plug with a rapid early expansion and a raised bump pattern — 6 underside bumps and 2 top nodules for multiple points of contact. Available in four diameters: 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm. Because of its short, compact profile, it's solid-core only.

How it works
The ~4mm tip guides in gently, then the shaft widens quickly, reaching its full peak diameter within about 8mm of the tip — a short, concentrated stretch rather than a gradual approach. The bumps and nodules add varied tactile contact points as it moves, and the proportional base flange controls depth while giving a secure grip for removal.
Choosing your silicone firmness
Bob recommends #18 (Firm) or #10 (Medium) — both provide the rigidity needed to resist bowing during insertion while delivering clear definition through the raised bumps and nodules.
Color options
#18 and #30 are available in pure translucent.
#00-20, #00-50, and #10 base colors are translucent white and can be mixed with any standard color.
